ACTIVITIES TO DISCOVER THE OCEANOGRAPHY
On a mission to research the oceans, and with the vocation of sharing this knowledge with the general public, MEDCLIC promotes ocean literacy with activities where you can discover, learn about and enjoy oceanography.
We put on exhibitions, lecture series, competitions, workshops, guided tours around the SOCIB Oceanographic Vessel, and training workshops for teachers, etc. We do this to ensure access to accurate, reliable education about the marine environment and to foster mainstreaming outreach programmes which reinforce the connection of the general public to the ocean and marine sciences.
At SOCIB we will continue to work so that the general public understands that science is our best ally in understanding, managing and preserving marine resources.
